haha :) Woo Aussie pride! Yeah Carpathian's newest album "Isolation" is fucking brilliant, their older stuff not so much (for me at least). You should also check out Wish for Wings, House vs. Hurricane, The Amity Affliction, A Secret Death, The Paper and the Plane, Mindsnare, Jungle Fever, Mourning Tide and Bad Day Down... to name a few. There are so many Aussie bands I'd love to see get international exposure, they deserve it.

I didn't go to the first one (2007).. but this year had As I Lay Dying, Killswitch, Bleeding Through, The Offspring, the Fall of Troy, Haste the Day, Still Remains, From Autumn to Ashes, Divine Heresy, Shadows Fall, Alexisonfire, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Thursday, Saosin, The Matches, City and Colour, Mindless Self Indulgence and heaps more.. There were so many good bands but I only ended up seeing a few - namely Haste the Day, Fall of Troy, Carpathian, Bleeding Through, As I Lay Dying, Jim Ward (Sparta) and Killswitch. There was also a ridiculous 45 degree heatwave that day.. it was so bad. (I think thats about 110˚F.. to put that in perspective lol) But still an amazing day. And next year should be even better, with PTW...

Nope, last time they toured was in 2004 supporting Thursday and I didn't go. But next February they're playing Soundwave Festival, it's gonna be amazing.
