About Me

I'm a fan of vampires and zombies (in fiction, movies, and other such things) as well as horror/gothic movies in general.
I tend to gather some music from the soundtracks of my favourite movies (including Underworld and Matrix).
I like many a few different types of music, but I generally stick to music that falls under the categories of industrial and alternative rock.
I often listen to some music when I'm offline then let it scrobble when I get back online.
Most of my CDs are too scratched for my computer to read, so there are some great songs I'll probably never have on my profile. How sad.
I have a bad habit of putting a song I love on repeat and singing along so I can learn the lyrics. Because of this, my stats are likely going to stay skewed in favor of whatever my current favourite song(s) is/are.
Generally speaking, I also have a habit of sticking only a few songs in shuffle or on repeat for an hour or so. The songs may be anything from alternative to dance to metal - or a mixture of various genres. Or they may be all by one artist.
You know how some people go around downloading every song they can get their hands on? I'm not one of those people. I do, however, download music - especially when giving new artists or unpopular songs a try.
If I like what I hear, I'm highly likely to go out and buy the CD to 'support' (eh, record labels get more than the artists, don't they) the artist. If I don't like what I hear, at least I haven't wasted any money. It may not make sense to you, but it makes perfect sense to me.
The music I listen to often differs according to my mood. I have my preferences, but I don't believe in limiting myself to a particular genre. And I'm always willing to try something new.
